In addition, Richardson worked with a wide variety of banking industry executives throughout the country and represented the Federal Reserve System on numerous policy issues.

Richardson's private sector experience includes 16 years with the Dun & Bradstreet Companies and several years with Cleveland-area financial institutions. His successively growing responsibilities included roles as National Account Manager, Division Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Richardson was later recruited by a Cleveland-area financial institution where he introduced to the national market the first retail funds and consolidation system using electronic drafts that formed the basis for many cash management systems widely used today. Moving to Ohio Savings Bank, a full-service 40 branch institution, Richardson assumed responsibility as the Senior Marketing and Sales Officer. There, he successfully managed mergers, advertising, product development, public relations, and direct sales for asset, liability and fee products.

Richardson is a native of Kansas City and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri.
