paul~lawrence associates Recruits Vice President, Product Strategy and Distribution for American Express

August 25, 2006—Cleveland, Ohio—Executive search firm, paul-lawrence associates, has placed Ronald Bibonia as Vice President, Product Strategy & Distribution, Global Network Services for American Express, in New York City. Mark E. Little and Paul C. Stefunek were the search consultants managing the assignment.

Mr. Bibonia previously was the Product Director of Charles Schwab Bank in San Francisco where he launched and managed the bank's $265 million credit card portfolio. Prior, Ron was First Vice President at Diners Club International, Vice President at Standard Chartered Bank (Philippines) and an Assistant Vice President for Citibank (Philippines).

Global Network Services (GNS) is the American Express business unit that works to create joint ventures, network partnerships and franchise relationships with partners that share the American Express vision of product innovation and customer service excellence. GNS manages American Express' relationships with card-issuing business partners, typically banks and financial institutions, around the world.
