paul~lawrence associates and highbridge associates announce the appointment of diversity leader, Arlene Roane, as Managing Director

May 31, 2007—Cleveland, Ohio—Talent acquisition and retention services firm, paul~lawrence associates, and sister company highbridge associates, with offices in Cleveland, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Atlanta and Sarasota, today announced the appointment of Arlene Roane as Managing Director and Practice Leader for the firm's Diversity and Inclusion services.

Arlene, joins highbridge from Global Lead Management Consulting, where, since 2001, she served as a member of the leadership team and drove several landmark research projects, including the nationally acclaimed study, "Diversity Practices That Work: The American Worker Speaks," published in 2004 by the National Urban League. Additionally, she served as leading relationship builder and manager, strategist, consultant and facilitator/trainer to many of the firm's Fortune 500 clients.

In her new position, Arlene will help expand highbridge and paul~lawrence business growth through the introduction of offerings targeted to meet client needs for improved performance in diversity and inclusion across the spectrum of human capital services currently delivered by the firms. Her specific focus will be on multicultural recruitment and sourcing, and on increasing diversity in the internally and externally sourced talent pools available for managerial and executive development and succession planning. She will be based in Cincinnati, giving the firm added presence in the region; however, her reach will be national in scope.

Prior to Global Lead, Arlene held corporate executive and managerial positions in business development, strategic planning and marketing with several national communications companies. During her corporate career, she was a company leader in the development of employee resource groups for women, African-Americans and other minorities. Arlene received a bachelor degree from MIT in 1983 and an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado in 1991.

Founders of paul~lawrence associates and highbridge associates, launched in 2001, include Larry S. Imely, Paul C. Stefunek, and Frank G. Skedel.
